About this course

Web Development is for anyone who wants to build real websites and web applications in a browser. It is designed for learners starting from the ground up as well as practitioners who want structured practice across modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, server routes, accounts, and testing.

Every module centers on a real web project: an arts festival site, a museum guide, an editorial layout, responsive travel directories, booking flows, React dashboards, job boards, and authenticated member portals.

Full multi-file workspace

Write HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React with live rendering, instant feedback, and automated unit test verification.

No setup required

Run everything directly in your browser. No Node, Git, or editor installations needed.

Every module includes guided lessons, practical assignments, and an independent challenge.

  • 1
Build the first page: Start with a content brief and an empty HTML file to produce a valid rendered page.
  • 2
Connect another page: Add a Schedule page and connect it to the home page with relative navigation links.
  • 3
Organize the files: Restructure a disordered project directory and update paths to preserve site behavior.
  • 4
Add images and assets: Embed project images and icons with descriptive alternative text and proper dimensions.
  • 5
Read what the browser is doing: Trace document rendering, loaded resources, and inspect how markup translates to the rendered page.
